We took our Suburban here based on reviews and a friend’s suggestion. We had the truck in for state inspection and were told that our brakes were 75% worn and needed to be replaced soon….not the case! Made the appointment at Gil’s to check it out and they told us the brakes look great and do not need replacing, far from worn. We were so impressed that they told us no work was needed and they did this for free….we will be back here when we do need work!!!!

I am a relatively new customer of Gil’s. As a female, I am always wary about bringing my car to the mechanic’s as I feel that sometimes we can get taken advantage of….but not at Gil’s. From the moment that you enter, you are greeted with a smile and made to feel like you are important. Once the mechanic takes a look at your car, the friendly and professional staff go over what your car needs in a thorough and helpful manner that makes it easy for the average person to understand. If your budget does not allow for some repairs, the staff does not “pressure” you into fixing what can wait. Instead, they focus on things that would be safety issues. I have never encountered an automotive repair shop like Gil’s and I never will again, because as far as I am concerned, I do not need to look anywhere else.

A friend from work suggested Gils 2 years ago and I have had nothing but great service, the following reasons are why I use Gils Garage for my car service 1. I drive 25000 miles a year and I really rely on my car 2. Gils has early and late hours 3. They always call me with an estimate about the problem before they do anything 4. Linda Brian and Matt and everyone I talk to are always very thorough, helpful and patient about what’s happening to the car 5. The work is done correctly and at a reasonable price 6. Gils will give you a ride to work, I work 5 miles away and Lou gave me a ride with no problem 7. Linda even made arrangements for a rental and loaner car 8. The mechanics are very thorough, Once him and I went on a test drive to identify the problem I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT GILS GARAGE—YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
