How one is treated over the phone and at the front desk makes a difference, and I've always been treated well throughout the process -- from tone, to eye contact to explanations (they know their stuff and are good at this) on through the work performed. That extends to the rare question (once) about a charge: this business handles it all really well and without so much as a hint of friction between themselves and their plainly valued/respected clients. Gil's garage is the only place to take any vehicle for maintenance and repair. Incredible people and quality work that they actually stand behind. A rare find. A garage that you can put your complete trust in. My family has been taking our cars there for over 40 years.

Staff always go out of their way to find ways to possible defray costs - finding used parts when they will solve an issue, and always willing to refer me to someone for other services, for upholstery or body part repairs. Repairs are completed when promised. And, staff never too busy to explain repair needs now, and possible issues in future.
